So I fell off the face of the planet this weekend. Sort of even to myself. *scratches head* I'm not even sure what I DID except not leave my house, listen to podfic (have I mentioned here how I am with the podfic?), video games and fetch with the cat. I am a ROCKSTAR.

Now it's frickuing Monday and I'm still at home when I should already be at work because I couldn't fall asleep until WAY late and then, shockingly, couldn't get out of bed.

Didn't you guys MISS my EXCITING life? *facepalm*

Okay, must go to work now. MONDAY FOR THE LOSE.

So the Ravens lost. And the Dems continue to capitulate and screw up the most basic of bills to utter hell which I really don't want to focus on due the rage inducing level of the stupidity.

However, the was FNL on friday. Most awesome, if a little slow! Anyone else watching yet this season??

And Mad Men!! So much love. That was as close to a perfect hour of television as I have ever seen and I can't believe we have to wait for another year to get more. Waaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. ( spoilers )

I just can't get excited about this movie, even though I want to. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, here's the synopsis - a couple is visited by a creepy old man who offers them a box. Inside the box is a button. If they press the button, two things will happen - they will get a million dollars, and someone they don't know will die.

The Box is based on a short story by Richard Matheson, and was a great (1980's) Twilight Zone episode. It's a neat concept, but unless they change the ending completely, there's no suspense.

See? Great twist ending... and it ruins the movie if you've ever seen it.

Mike dyed his hair for his role in Mame. (He's playing Older Patrick and dyed it to match the hair of the child playing Young Patrick.) Now everyone's going to think I'm robbing the cradle!

All right, one of those is so barely late it hardly counts, but that's only through sheer dumb luck.
